Ever since I can remember I’ve had a devout passion for clothes and fashion. When I was younger I used to buy lots of fashion and entertainment magazines and watched A LOT of TV (I still do LOL) and I gradually became so fascinated about all things related to the media, fashion and celebrities.
As I got older I decided to travel and explore the world. And having lived in different countries and traveled around has helped me to get my inspiration from various elements of culture such as music, food, fashion. When Internet along with Social Media and blogging became more popular, the undeniable urge of sharing and expressing me through means of these kinds of platforms became immense. That is why I decided to create Audreyfashionshoes; my very own platform, my little virtual world, where I get to escape to every now and then and share with you my finds, inspirations and obsessions.
I started my shoe business in 2015 after going on holiday with 10 pairs of shoes in my suitcase. I was stopped and charged 169 for excess baggage. It was then I came up with the idea to create and patent an interchangeable shoe. I have since made shoes for local. I have to be able to work, walk, shop and do the school run in all of my shoes. If they don't hurt and are still comfortable after 12 hours then I make them. I put 3 layers of padding in all of my designs. This way you don't see girls with them slung over their shoulder after a night out .A lot of ladies have said my shoes are like slippers with heels.
I have clients who have got married in my shoes and have told me that they still had them on after the reception. I have had ladies wear them all day at work and then gone out in them.
